The Crescent Trail Hiking Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of volunteers who help plan, develop, and maintain the Crescent Trail footpaths by fostering a public appreciation of natural open spaces in the Town of Perinton. The Town Perinton is recognized as a Trail Town USA. Click here to learn more about this recognition.
Crescent Trail maps, hats, and t-shirts are available at the Perinton Community Center at 1350 Turk Hill Road while supplies last! Your contribution supports the maintenance efforts of our trail system and is greatly appreciated.
Our board members meet once a month to discuss the trails and address public concerns and we even lead monthly, free guided hikes on the 2nd Sunday of every month to educate hikers on the popular trails.

Our Silver Fox volunteers meet every Wed from mid-April to mid-November to maintain the trails. Trail mowers, chainsaws, and weed whackers are some of the tools used by the Silver Foxes. We repair and rebuild any of the over 100 bridges and other structures on the Crescent Trail as time permits. Click here to learn how you can volunteer your time. We always love welcoming new members to our team. To learn more about our organization, we encourage you to explore our site and our social media channels and don’t be afraid to email us with any questions.
